Contractual Grant Writer (Remote, Part-Time)

As a Contractual Grant Writer at The Word Woman LLC, you will:

• Research, write, and submit grant proposals to private foundations, community foundations, and government agencies for nonprofit clients.
• Manage the grant writing process from start to finish, including producing letters of inquiry, grant proposals, reports, and concept papers.
• Contact foundations and grant managers to discuss processes and assess alignment between client activities and funder goals.

This role enables nonprofit clients to secure funding for their missions, amplifying their positive impact across various social and environmental causes.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional grant writing experience for nonprofits, including successful submissions to various funders.
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage the grant writing process independently.
• Degree in Communications, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, or related field (professional degree preferred).

Compensation is outcomes-based, with rates depending on experience, location, and certifications. This is a remote, part-time 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling.
