Consultant Ecologist

• Organise and carry out desk studies and field-based habitat, botanical, protected and non-native invasive species surveys.
• Undertake analysis, evaluation, interpretation and presentation of ecological data, including supporting production of Ecological Impact Assessments and design of mitigation strategies.
• Perform the role of an Ecological Clerk of Works on construction projects.

This role contributes to shaping the future of the environment by delivering ecological programs and projects that protect and enhance biodiversity, supporting sustainable infrastructure development.

• Experience in organising and carrying out ecological surveys and data analysis.
• Knowledge of protected species and habitat surveys, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work on large infrastructure projects in energy, water, renewables, defence, and transport sectors.
