Mission
What you will drive
- Craft and facilitate group workshops on core organizing skills like campaign planning, messaging, and fundraising.
- Build relationships with leaders in most impacted communities, identify local environmental threats, and develop creative strategies to protect health and environment.
- Increase Slingshot's media presence through local events, press releases, campaign materials, and online organizing.
- Cultivate relationships with local foundations, help write grant applications, and identify grassroots donors.

This role creates positive change by building community power to address environmental health threats, particularly in Black, Indigenous, and poor communities and communities of color, and by strengthening the environmental movement in New Hampshire and Maine.
Profile
What makes you a great fit
- At least three years of related work experience, such as community organizing or grassroots campaign coordination.
- Experience living in or working with people in frontline communities, especially people of color, Indigenous communities, immigrants, and low-income people.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; strategic thinking and effective facilitation skills.
- Experience with leadership development, campaign planning, and a passion for racial, economic, and environmental justice.
