Mission
What you will drive
- Lead communications planning and strategy for all CCEJ initiatives, focusing on digital storytelling that supports policy advocacy.
- Write high-quality external communications copy, including digital content, newsletters, social media, op-eds, and policy-focused narratives.
- Manage media relations for CCEJ programs, including working with PR contractors and identifying story placement opportunities.
- Support CCEJ events, webinars, and trainings, and manage marketing for CCEJ events and the Federal Funding mailing list.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 4-5 years of communications experience, preferably in environmental or climate issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of climate change and environmental justice concepts and policies.
- Experience developing communications strategies that support policy change, including narrative and storytelling-driven advocacy.
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong digital/social media writing ability and experience translating technical/legal/scientific information into engaging narratives.
