Commissioning Engineer

• Execute commissioning activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-commissioning through substantial completion.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper scheduling and communication.
• Manage equipment suppliers and conduct site visits to oversee commissioning plans and performance testing.
• Identify gaps in project documents and suggest process improvements based on lessons learned.

This role directly contributes to the successful deployment of battery energy storage systems, enabling greater integration of renewable energy and reducing reliance on fossil fuels, thereby advancing the transition to a sustainable energy future.

• Educational background in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in commissioning and/or systems engineering within renewable energy.
• Hands-on experience with battery storage systems, medium voltage stations, and related products.
• Proficient in MV electrical installations, ampacity calculations, short circuit/load flow, protective device coordination, arc flash, grounding per IEEE80, and relevant regulatory standards (NEC/UL).
