Cloud Solutions Architect / Senior Cloud Solutions Architect  

• Design, govern, and guide secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS and Azure to support utility operations.
• Translate business, technical, security, and operational requirements into detailed solution designs and architecture diagrams.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide architectural leadership during major incidents and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity requirements are met.

This role strengthens the digital backbone of utility operations technology, directly affecting outage response, field execution, safety, and the continuity of essential utility services for over two million customers in Oregon, enabling a smarter, cleaner, and more resilient energy system.

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering management, or equivalent work experience.
• For mid-level: 5+ years in solution architecture, systems engineering, or related disciplines. For senior level: 8+ years in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or platform engineering with deep AWS expertise.
• AWS Solution Architect certification preferred (Professional or Associate for senior level); Azure Solutions Architect certification or equivalent experience for senior level.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and designing enterprise-scale solutions across cloud, applications, infrastructure, integration, and security domains.
