Civil Design Team Leader

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers and designers in civil design for mining projects, including grading, earthwork, pipelines, roads, dams, and utilities.
• Develop design procedures, software tools, and technical approaches to ensure high-quality, cost-effective project delivery.
• Oversee project execution, client communication, and interdisciplinary reviews of deliverables.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and material take-off quantities from concept through completion.

This role contributes to the sustainable development of mining infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient water management, land use, and environmental stewardship for large-scale mining operations.

• Extensive experience with Autodesk Civil 3D (through 2025), including advanced surface and pipeline modeling.
• Strong understanding of civil design principles, codes, permits, and relevant software.
• Experience in mining or heavy civil projects, including grading, dams, tailings facilities, and site development.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and guide less experienced designers.
