ABOUT UNCHARTED Uncharted International is a faith-driven nonprofit that accelerates discipleship movements in hard places. Uncharted comes alongside churches, pastors, and other Christian leaders to support disciple-making and church planting in locations with low access or low response to the Gospel. SUMMARY The Church Partner & Outpost Director helps expand and strengthen Uncharted’s relationships with churches while developing Outpost as a thriving network that equips and connects mission leaders. This role is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships, creating meaningful engagement opportunities, and helping church leaders and mission practitioners participate more deeply in God’s global mission. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Church Partnerships & Engagement Identify, expand, cultivate, and strengthen relationships with current and prospective church partners. Help churches engage more deeply in God’s global mission by providing strategic guidance, resources, and meaningful opportunities for involvement. Represent Uncharted at conferences, church networks, and partner events, building new relationships and expanding organizational influence. Utilize the Uncharted Engagement Pathways to help churches move toward deeper participation with Uncharted. Speak and represent Uncharted at churches, conferences, and partner events as needed. Travel domestically and internationally to strengthen church partnerships, visit Uncharted Locations, and communicate ministry impact. Cultivate relationships with church leaders and strategic organizational partners. Outpost Network Development Help provide vision, leadership, and ongoing development for the Outpost Network. Oversee the implementation of Gatherings, Network, Cohorts, and other collaborative experiences for mission leaders. Recruit and equip facilitators, contributors, and thought leaders who strengthen the Outpost community. Curate and develop high-quality resources, newsletters, and content that serve mission leaders. Continually assess participant needs and improve Outpost programming for greater effectiveness. Expand Outpost Gatherings into strategic regions both within the U.S. and internationally, fostering collaboration among church and mission leaders. Help coordinate and co-host Outpost Gatherings, overseeing logistics and participant experience. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate closely with the Uncharted president and leadership team to advance the vision and strategic priorities of Uncharted. Help identify new ministry opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen the organization’s impact. Travel approximately 35–55 days annually, both domestically and internationally. Perform other duties as needed to further the mission and vision of Uncharted. DESIRED QUALITIES Passion for the local church and God’s global mission. Comfortable speaking publicly, teaching, and representing the organization. Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and able to lead projects from vision through execution.
