Chief of Staff

Enable a small animal welfare organization to scale through hiring, events, and operational infrastructure development.
- Own recruiting end-to-end: write roles, source candidates, run pipeline, design work trials, and screen applicants.
- Manage 4–6 academic workshops, one 50-person conference, and two staff retreats annually to advance research programs.
- Build scalable processes and onboarding systems as the organization grows in headcount and scope.
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks, improve internal AI use, and draft funder-facing materials as needed.
- Requires track record of autonomous project ownership from ideation to delivery and strong written communication skills.
