What you will drive
- Develop a policy paper on community-based approaches to safeguarding living heritage and their contribution to sustainable development frameworks in Africa.
- Review existing policies, legal measures, and regional frameworks for living heritage safeguarding in Africa.
- Identify and analyze good practices of community participation in policy design and safeguarding initiatives.
- Conduct stakeholder consultations and write stories for an online platform sharing good safeguarding experiences.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in heritage studies, anthropology, sociology, cultural policy, or sustainable development.
- Proven track record in drafting policy papers, analytical reports, or advocacy documents.
- Experience in designing and conducting stakeholder consultations, including with community-based organizations.
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills in English and French.
