Mission
What you will drive
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international birding field trips for ABC's major supporters, approximately three 3-4 day domestic trips/year and two week-long international trips/year.
- Arrange for ABC staff and/or experienced birding tour guides to lead trips, and lead select birding trips.
- Manage logistics related to travel, accommodations, permits, and schedules for ABC-led birding excursions.
- Promote ABC's mission by communicating with tour participants and industry professionals about ABC's conservation work.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Proven experience as a birding tour leader, with strong bird identification skills and conservation knowledge.
- 5-7 years of experience organizing and leading birding trips, including international trips, and coordinating all logistics from lodging to meals to transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including strong customer service skills and the ability to engage and educate ABC's major supporters about conservation efforts.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and coordinate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
