Attorney

• Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing to formulate policy and legal interventions.
• Draft model legislation, legal memoranda, and resources such as fact sheets, toolkits, and policy guides.
• Provide technical assistance and training to policymakers, advocates, and community groups.
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and manage relationships with partners and clients.

This role advances health equity by using law and policy to dismantle oppressive systems and create equitable solutions for underserved communities.

• JD and member of a state bar licensed to practice law in the United States.
• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience (e.g., public agency, city attorney, nonprofit legal organization).
• Experience in legal research, analysis, and writing; ability to translate complex policy for lay audiences.
• Strongly preferred: experience with marginalized communities, community-based organizations, or civil rights/government law.

Full-time, exempt position for a fixed term of two years. Starting salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 per year. Virtual-first workplace with travel cost coverage. Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
