Associate Vice President, Philanthropy

Lead major gifts fundraising and donor relations strategy for a global animal advocacy organization, generating over half of annual revenue.
- Oversee one-to-one donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship across major gifts, mid-level, and planned giving programs to exceed $11M annual revenue targets.
- Serve as frontline fundraiser managing high-capacity donor portfolio and securing six- to seven-figure gifts for both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities.
- Design and execute capital campaign operations including feasibility assessment, case development, pipeline strategy, and board engagement.
- Lead and coach team of up to 12 philanthropy staff across major gifts, mid-level, and planned giving programs.
- Requires 9+ years nonprofit fundraising with 3+ years managing major gifts programs raising $5M+ annually and 3+ years staff leadership experience.
