Associate Technical Director - Interconnection and Planning

• Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to generation, large load, and merchant transmission developers, helping them navigate MISO and SPP's evolving interconnection landscape.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute EPE's growth strategy across MISO, SPP, and beyond, including leading proposal and RFP development efforts.

This role directly accelerates the transition to a modern, secure, and resilient grid by helping developers navigate interconnection processes and remove roadblocks, enabling more renewable energy projects to come online.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the electric energy industry.
• Strong understanding of MISO, SPP, and Utility interconnection requirements and regulatory framework for both generation and load.
• Exceptional communicator who can influence, create alignment, and make decisions confidently under uncertainty.
• Proven ability to connect the dots between technical deliverables, client needs, and their commercial strategy.
