How to Apply for Associate Principal Electrical Engineer – Interconnection Studies
at Revamp Engineering
🏢 About Revamp Engineering
Revamp Engineering is an employee-owned firm dedicated to accelerating renewable energy projects to preserve the planet for future generations. They specialize in utility-scale solar and storage, offering a dynamic, mission-driven work environment where every team member has a stake in the company's success. Working here means contributing directly to the expansion of renewable generation capacity on the North American grid.
About This Role
As an Associate Principal Electrical Engineer – Interconnection Studies, you will lead interconnection and power systems studies for utility-scale solar and storage projects across the U.S. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the entire interconnection process, from early plant sizing to compliance closeout, while mentoring junior engineers and serving as a key point of contact for clients and utilities. This role is critical to ensuring that renewable energy projects successfully integrate into the grid, directly supporting the growth of clean energy.
💡 A Day in the Life
You might start your day reviewing study results from an ISO for a solar project in ERCOT, then jump on a call with a client to discuss mitigation options. Later, you could mentor a junior engineer on modeling assumptions, and in the afternoon, you might prepare a response to a utility's study findings. Your work is a blend of technical analysis, client interaction, and team leadership, all aimed at advancing renewable energy projects.
