Associate Editor

• Serve as an associate editor supporting Lawfare's AI Research Program, overseeing editorial processes for articles, podcasts, and research.
• Review AI-related submissions for substantive accuracy and analytical rigor, soliciting new content from contributors.
• Support podcast production including guest coordination, research, and show notes for programs like Scaling Laws.
• Manage AI tracking resources and website content.

This role helps ensure high-quality, accurate analysis of AI's intersection with national security and law, informing public discourse and policy decisions.

• Experience in editing or journalism, with a focus on AI, national security, law, or policy.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with contributors and podcast guests.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their policy implications.
