Assistant Director, Technology Delivery

• Lead and scale the Technology Delivery portfolio, overseeing a suite of hands-on support projects for government technology needs including AI adoption, technology pilots, software implementations, and IT strategic planning.
• Develop strategic direction, design technical assistance offerings, and track outcomes to build government capacity and scale insights across the field.
• Engage with government leaders and philanthropy to pitch projects, respond to RFPs, and cultivate new opportunities.

This role helps state and local governments harness technology to improve public services, building their capacity to adopt and sustain technology beyond project lifecycles, ultimately ensuring every resident has a government they can count on.

• Seven or more years of relevant experience, including direct experience in state/local government, consulting, or private sector teams supporting government technology initiatives.
• At least two years of direct people management experience.
• Proficient in technology tools for collaborative remote work (e.g., Teams/Slack, Miro/Figma, Asana/Monday, AI tools like Claude/ChatGPT).
• Expert IT project management skills with experience in public sector technology implementations and project delivery.

Salary: $138,780 per year.
