Mission

What you will drive

  • Build a deep understanding of solar and battery micro-installers as an audience and map existing communications, advocacy, and capacity-building support across five markets (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Nigeria, Pakistan).
  • Design a capacity-building framework that moves installers from practical communications toward media engagement and policy advocacy, grounded in adult learning and business value.
  • Test the approach with a small cohort across at least two markets, iterate based on feedback, and produce a Phase 2 blueprint including delivery model, per-market adaptation, and cost.

Impact

The difference you'll make

This role empowers solar and battery micro-installersโ€”a fast-growing but overlooked workforceโ€”to find their collective voice and influence clean energy policy, ensuring that the people driving the energy transition have a say in the policies that shape their businesses and communities.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with a track record of training, coaching, or programs that changed how people act, not just what they know.
  • Experience building others' capacity to communicate and advocate, through communications, campaigns, advocacy, or learning/curriculum design, ideally across multiple markets.
  • Comfortable designing for adult, professional, non-academic, or hard-to-reach audiences, especially in emerging markets and across cultures.
  • Strong facilitation instincts, exceptional English writing, and ability to make complex ideas simple and usable.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Remote, part-time contract role with flexibility across time zones. Work-life balance respected. Opportunity to design a pioneering capacity-building framework for a global clean energy workforce. Application deadline: 14 August. Interview process: 2 rounds via Zoom with a short exercise.
