Mission
What you will drive
- Manage all day-to-day accounting operations as the sole in-house accountant, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Oversee a portfolio of grants, contracts, and restricted funding, including tracking, drawdown, forecasting, and reconciliation.
- Prepare periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ensure audit readiness.
- Lead audit preparation and strengthen internal controls and financial policies.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 7+ years of general accounting experience, including 3+ years in managerial-level financial reporting and 2+ years with grant-funded programs.
- Proficiency with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Strong foundation in nonprofit accounting standards (ASC 958) and GAAP; familiarity with FAR requirements for federal grants.
- Experience serving as primary liaison to external accounting/audit firms.
