Account Manager

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of nonprofit clients, managing relationships, expectations, and satisfaction.
• Lead a pod of finance professionals (Financial Strategists, Finance Managers, Bookkeepers) through coaching, performance management, and accountability.
• Oversee quality control, financial reviews, and onboarding of new clients to ensure accuracy and alignment with scope.
• Manage workflow, capacity, and process improvements to drive operational efficiency.

This role enables nonprofits to optimize their financial resources and processes, allowing them to focus more on their mission and serve their communities more effectively.

• 6+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in nonprofit environments.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting.
• Advanced QuickBooks skills (ProAdvisor Certified preferred).
