Working Student Data Science Forecasting (m/f/d)

• Support the development, training, and testing of time-series forecasting models for PV generation, household load, heat pump consumption, and EV charging.
• Assist in monitoring, updating, and troubleshooting forecasting models and pipelines in production environments.
• Help build and maintain robust data transformation pipelines using SQLMesh and BigQuery.
• Contribute to agentic AI workflows and automation.

This role directly accelerates the energy transition by improving forecasting models that optimize the use of renewable energy, helping to transition households to clean energy and reduce carbon emissions.

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent quantitative field.
• Solid coding skills in Python and familiarity with pandas, numpy, scikit-learn.
• Solid theoretical understanding of machine learning principles and statistical analysis.
• Team-oriented mindset and interest in renewable energy.
