We are seeking a 6 month fixed-term HR Technology professional to join our HR Technology team for six months, with a single, clearly defined remit: to own the end-to-end design, configuration, and delivery of the 2026 Annual Performance Review process in Workday.
This role is accountable for the technical success of the annual performance review cycle in Workday. That means owning the build, configuration, testing, system readiness, workflow integrity, data accuracy, launch support, and break/fix resolution for the process from design through go-live and in-cycle support. While the role will partner closely with HRBPs, Compensation, and People teams, accountability for the Workday performance review process sits with this role.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong Workday configuration capability with practical judgment, stakeholder management, and a high bar for ownership, quality, accuracy, and execution.
This is a remote position with a preference for candidates residing in the United States to maintain effective collaboration across teams.
What You'll Do:
Own the end-to-end technical delivery of the 2026 Annual Performance Review process in Workday
Be singularly accountable for the Workday configuration, workflow integrity, system readiness, and technical success of the annual review cycle
Design, build, and configure the annual performance review process in Workday based on approved policy, process, and business requirements
Confirm the Workday review template, prompts, task flow, and system design required to support launch
Translate planning requirements into clear system actions, milestones, and deliverables across the review cycle
Advise stakeholders on Workday capabilities, constraints, dependencies, risks, and configuration trade-offs
Partner with HRBPs, Compensation, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on build, testing, readiness, and launch timelines while retaining ownership of the Workday solution
Configure and validate Workday workflows to ensure a smooth and intuitive review experience for managers, employees, and partners
Audit employee data in Workday to ensure readiness, accuracy, and integrity ahead of launch
Lead and coordinate testing activities across the process, including Workday task flow testing and broader user acceptance testing
Finalize Workday configuration and support related setup activities required for launch, including dependencies tied to compensation planning and budget setup
Present the Workday template and process design to HRBPs and other stakeholder groups, and incorporate feedback without compromising process integrity or delivery timelines
Own technical issue identification, triage, break/fix resolution, and in-cycle system support during the performance process
Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact a successful launch or cycle execution
Ensure the process is fully configured, tested, and operationally ready ahead of launch
Document configuration decisions, risks, and process changes to support smooth delivery and handover
About You:
You have strong hands-on experience configuring and administering Workday, ideally across performance management, talent, or compensation-related processes
You have delivered or supported complex annual performance review cycles in an HRIS or HR Technology environment
You are able to translate policy and business requirements into practical system design and configuration decisions
You understand how to balance user experience, technical constraints, operational risk, and delivery timelines
You bring strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data quality, testing, and system integrity
You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and working across HR, HRBPs, Compensation, and technical teams
You are proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
You communicate clearly and confidently, including the ability to explain system design choices, risks, and recommendations to non-technical audiences
You are experienced in testing, issue resolution, and launch support for time-sensitive HR processes
U.S. Based Position - What We Offer:
Comprehensive Health & Wellness: A choice of medical, dental, and vision plans. We also provide company-paid life and disability insurance and company-funded mental health benefits.
