How to Apply for Watsi Community & Engagement Lead
at Watsi
๐ข About Watsi
Watsi is a tech nonprofit that funds life-changing healthcare with 100% of donations going directly to patient care. They operate with radical transparency, publishing every dollar spent, and are a fully remote global team. This is a rare opportunity to work at a mission-driven organization where your efforts directly save lives.
About This Role
As the Community & Engagement Lead, you'll build and nurture a global community of supporters who fund healthcare for patients in need. You'll deepen donor engagement through storytelling and personalized outreach, lead the Ambassador program, and create events that connect people to their impact. This role is critical to scaling Watsi's mission and ensuring donors feel the tangible difference they make.
๐ก A Day in the Life
Your day might start by reviewing donor engagement metrics and responding to personalized emails from supporters. You'd then hop on a Zoom call with an Ambassador to brainstorm a fundraising event, followed by drafting a patient story for the newsletter. After lunch, you could research potential partners for a virtual event and end the day by analyzing the impact of a recent campaign.
