Volunteer Support Worker – East Sussex

• Serve as a point of contact and support for volunteers, nurturing a sense of community.
• Welcome and support newly qualified volunteers, helping them feel valued and connected.
• Provide ongoing encouragement, guidance, and maintain volunteer records.
• Liaise with Events Coordinator to identify and recruit volunteers for events.

This role fosters a compassionate community of volunteers, enabling them to provide free hand massage and gentle listening presence to vulnerable individuals, thereby shaping a more compassionate culture.

• Strong communication, listening, and people skills.
• Warm and open disposition; organized, reliable, responsive, and solution-oriented.
• Basic IT skills (email, Google Forms, WhatsApp).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; passion for human connection and serving others.

£15 per hour, flexible remote work, supportive team environment, regular check-ins, and connection with a growing compassionate network.
