Volunteer, Grant Prospecting Researcher

• Research foundations and funders to build a pipeline of grant opportunities aligned with PauseAI's mission in AI safety, technology policy, and civic advocacy.
• Search grant databases for relevant funding opportunities and evaluate funders for mission fit, eligibility, grant size, and deadlines.
• Maintain a shared grant tracker, summarize funder priorities, and flag high-priority opportunities with sufficient lead time.

This role helps secure funding for PauseAI's work in AI safety and governance, enabling the organization to advocate for responsible AI development and policy.

• Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate grant opportunities.
• Ability to maintain organized records and track deadlines.
