Volunteer Assistant

• Support the Head of Volunteering in strengthening volunteer management, engagement, and development.
• Manage people-related data, support role managers and volunteers, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Oversee administrative tasks including managing the volunteering inbox, supporting events, and facilitating onboarding and engagement.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives to improve the volunteer experience.

This role enables Bowel Cancer UK to effectively manage and develop its volunteer workforce, ensuring the organization can deliver its mission to save lives from bowel cancer.

• Experience in volunteer management or administrative support.
• Strong data management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work across departments and support diverse volunteer programs.
