Vice President of Programs (abuse prevention and response)

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Sacred Spaces' Education and Consulting Departments, ensuring programs are mission-aligned, responsive to community needs, and delivered with excellence.
• Lead program evaluation, using performance indicators to assess impact and drive continuous improvement, while identifying opportunities to expand reach and impact nationally.
• Partner with the CEO and VP of Strategy & Operations to develop program budgets, support high-level client engagements, and represent Sacred Spaces externally to increase visibility and credibility.

This role directly strengthens the safety and well-being of Jewish communities by ensuring that Sacred Spaces' abuse prevention and response programs are effective, scalable, and grounded in best practices, thereby reducing harm and fostering a culture of accountability.

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in abuse prevention and response, including policy development, organizational assessments, program design, training, or case consultation.
• Deep expertise in at least one core content area (e.g., institutional abuse, youth safeguarding, workplace safety, clergy abuse, sexual violence prevention).
• Significant experience supervising senior staff, building high-performing teams, and leading complex programs or consulting services with responsibility for outcomes and impact.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and familiarity with Jewish communal organizations across North America.
