Ukraine Researcher

• Conduct extensive background checks on people, companies, and networks with a focus on Ukraine.
• Interpret corporate, legal, property, and financial documents and write comprehensive research reports.
• Provide research support for long-term investigations and respond promptly to journalist requests.
• Train investigative journalists on research techniques and local databases.

This role strengthens investigative journalism in Ukraine and globally, exposing crime and corruption to hold power accountable and drive real-world action.

• Fluency in English and Ukrainian, written and spoken.
• Understanding of and ability to obtain public records in Ukraine and Russia.
• Proven track record in investigative research from journalism, law, finance, or related field.
• Persistence, curiosity, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail.
