Translator (Arabic/English)

As a freelance translator, you will support MiCT's projects in Sudan by providing translation services between Arabic and English. Your key responsibilities include:

• Translating surveys, project reports, and documents from English to Arabic.
• Translating interview responses from Arabic to English.
• Providing verbal simultaneous translation during meetings, interviews, and trainings as required.

Your translation work will enable effective communication and collaboration in MiCT's projects in Sudan, supporting transparent, inclusive, and fair dialogue that fosters resilient societies.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Extensive professional translation experience.
• Knowledge of vocabulary pertaining to journalism and press freedom.
• Experience working with NGOs and iNGOs (preferred).

This is a freelance position with a contract duration from August 2026 to June 2027. Compensation details are not specified in the posting.
