Mission

What you will drive

  • Take day-to-day ownership of finance administration, bookkeeping, and recurring operational processes across Social Tech Trust and Social Tech Ventures.
  • Maintain accurate multi-entity finance records, including grant and restricted fund tracking, intercompany recharges, and fund administration.
  • Manage supplier invoices, expenses, payment runs, reconciliations, and support payroll, month-end, audit, and year-end reporting.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and fund administrators, and maintain an obligations calendar for key deadlines.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Recent hands-on bookkeeping or finance operations experience, including managing invoices, payments, reconciliations, and VAT records.
  • Experience working across multiple entities, projects, restricted funds, or cost centres with clear record separation.
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail; ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities.
  • Desirable: experience with investment fund administration, charity finance, grants, or payroll.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 FTE, pro rata, depending on experience. 3 days per week. Largely remote with occasional London meetings. Initial 6-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension.
