How to Apply for Technology/ IT Talent Acquisition Specialist

at Environmental Resources Management

🏢 About Environmental Resources Management

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is a global sustainability consultancy that partners with leading organizations to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon, sustainable future. With a mission-driven focus and a collaborative culture, ERM offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape ESG priorities worldwide.

About This Role

As a Technology/IT Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle for niche technology roles, including Cloud, DevOps, and AI. This role is critical to building the talent that powers ERM’s digital transformation and sustainability solutions, directly impacting the company’s ability to innovate and scale.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with reviewing recruitment metrics and prioritizing open roles. You’ll spend time sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn and Boolean searches, then conduct screening calls. After lunch, you’ll meet with hiring managers to align on job requirements and interview feedback, and end the day by updating the ATS and preparing reports on pipeline health.

🎯 Who Environmental Resources Management Is Looking For

  • Proven expertise in sourcing and recruiting for hard-to-fill tech roles such as Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Full Stack Developers, ideally within consulting or professional services.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring managers and align on job requirements, interview processes, and compensation strategies.
  • Data-driven and metrics-oriented, with a track record of improving conversion rates and time-to-fill while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with experience in RPO, GCC, or product-based tech hiring.

📝 Tips for Applying to Environmental Resources Management

Tailor your resume to highlight specific tech recruitment wins (e.g., number of Cloud roles filled, time-to-fill reductions) using metrics and examples.

2

In your cover letter, explicitly mention your experience with passive candidate engagement and market mapping for niche tech skills.

3

Research ERM’s sustainability initiatives and digital transformation projects to demonstrate genuine interest in their mission.

4

Prepare to discuss your approach to managing multiple stakeholders and how you’ve aligned conflicting priorities in the past.

5

Showcase your proficiency with recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, CRM) and how you’ve used data to drive decisions.
