Mission

What you will drive

  • Design, develop, test, and prepare a Digital Investment Case Tool for Women's Health for pilot use with Kenya's/Egypt's Ministry of Health and subsequent scale-up across MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Build a fully functional offline Excel-based investment case tool with six modules, pre-populated with country data but adaptable to any LMIC context.
  • Develop advocacy materials and facilitate pilot testing and capacity building for at least 15 MoH staff.
  • Deliver an end-of-pilot evaluation and a structured scale-up roadmap for multi-country roll-out.

This role directly supports Ministries of Health in LMICs to make compelling economic arguments for increased domestic investment in family planning, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and primary health care, ultimately improving women's health outcomes and advancing universal health coverage.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Postgraduate degree in economics, health economics, public health, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' health economics experience with deep knowledge of SRHR and PHC investment evidence in LMICs.
  • Proven track record building complex analytical and decision-support tools in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience engaging MoH and/or MoF counterparts in LMICs; ability to design and deliver training for government professionals.

This is a consultancy with milestone-based payments (40% upon acceptance of Deliverable Group 1, 30% each for Groups 2 and 3). The engagement is output-based over 6 months, requiring approximately 20 working days. No additional benefits mentioned.
