Team Lead, Data Services and Infrastructure

• Lead and develop a team responsible for data pipelines, architecture, data quality, and reporting services for AES Clean Energy's growing fleet of Solar, Wind, and BESS assets.
• Design, manage, and optimize data infrastructure supporting analytics use cases as part of the Clean Energy Data Analytics and Reporting (CEDAR) platform.
• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and availability across operational and reporting systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

This role directly supports the global energy transition by enabling data-driven optimization of renewable energy assets, accelerating decarbonization and improving lives through a safer, greener energy future.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and working with cloud-based data platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, system design principles, and data governance frameworks.

Salary range: $117,000 - $146,200/year (USD). Total compensation includes annual bonus. Benefits: medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, paid time off (vacation, sick leave, parental leave).
