Talent Ops Lead

• Champion candidate love by ensuring fast, kind, and human responses throughout the hiring process, tracking response times, ghosting, feedback themes, and escalation trends.
• Improve the talent tech stack (Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, Notion, Slack, etc.) to make tools faster, smarter, and more human.
• Build strong reporting and insight across the talent tech stack, providing useful data to the Head of TA and business for better hiring decisions.
• Improve processes and AI across the hiring workflow to help recruiters spend more time with humans and less time on admin.

This role ensures that every candidate interaction reflects Octopus Energy's human, kind, and fast culture, protecting candidate love and improving the hiring experience globally. By optimizing processes and leveraging AI, the role helps the talent team work more efficiently, ultimately supporting Octopus's mission to change the energy system.

• Deep care for candidates and candidate experience.
• Recruitment ops experience, ideally in a fast-moving, high-volume or global business.
• Brilliant understanding of ATS systems, especially Lever or talent tooling.
• Reporting and data skills to turn messy info into useful insight and clear action.
