Strategic Communications Manager - Remote

• Project manage GEM's editorial calendar, including timelines, contributors, approvals, and communications support for flagship releases.
• Provide editorial guidance and maintain the quality, structure, and formatting of GEM reports and briefings.
• Collaborate with the Communications Director and GEM programs to identify, develop, produce, and pitch compelling media stories based on GEM data.
• Write and edit communications materials for editorial and product releases, including media pitches, press materials, web content, newsletters, and other external communications.

This role amplifies GEM's data-driven research on energy infrastructure, translating complex information into compelling narratives that inform climate policy, media coverage, and public awareness, thereby accelerating the transition to clean energy.

• At least five years experience in communications or journalism.
• Ability to manage multiple projects involving a variety of stakeholders.
• Scrupulous attention to detail.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of supporting organizational-wide change.
• Fluency in English.

Full-time, 40-hour-per-week, work-from-home position. Salary is $106,483.55 for US-based employees.
