Staff Attorney

• Independently prosecute complex impact litigation in areas including anti-discrimination, higher education law, consumer protection, and antitrust.
• Develop new litigation to meet strategic objectives and elevate client voices.
• Work collaboratively with staff and external partners, translating legal concepts for diverse audiences.

This role directly combats predatory practices in higher education, securing debt cancellation and justice for historically excluded communities, with over $30 billion in student debt already canceled.

• JD and minimum three years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience acting as lead counsel in civil litigation.
• Familiarity with consumer protection, student loan law, or plaintiff-side class action work preferred.
• Licensure and good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
