Sr. Assurance Manager, SCS Standards & Assurance Systems

• Lead the design, implementation, and revision of assurance systems supporting certification, verification, and responsible sourcing programs.
• Oversee certification body approval and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with international conformity assessment principles.
• Monitor emerging legislation and regulatory developments related to sustainability claims and certification systems, providing strategic recommendations.
• Provide technical advisory services to clients on assurance system design, certification readiness, and claims governance.

This role ensures the credibility and integrity of sustainability certification programs, enabling organizations to substantiate their environmental and social claims and driving market transformation toward more responsible practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Public Policy, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in certification, auditing, assurance systems, standards development, conformity assessment, or responsible sourcing.
• Demonstrated expertise with ISO/IEC 17065 and/or ISO/IEC 17021.
• Significant experience with voluntary sustainability standards and certification programs, including chain of custody systems.
