Sr. Assurance Manager, SCS Standards & Assurance Systems, Europe

• Lead the design, implementation, and revision of assurance systems supporting certification, verification, and responsible sourcing programs.
• Oversee certification body approval and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with international best practices.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance on claims substantiation and chain of custody systems.
• Serve as a senior advisor to clients on assurance system design and certification readiness.

This role ensures the credibility and integrity of sustainability standards and certification programs, enabling organizations to make verifiable environmental and social claims that drive positive change.

• Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Public Policy, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in certification, auditing, assurance systems, standards development, conformity assessment, or responsible sourcing.
• Demonstrated expertise with ISO/IEC 17065 and/or ISO/IEC 17021.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and project management skills.
