Mission

What you will drive

  • Launch and stabilize new squaDDs across the Southeast region, developing 2-3 core leaders per city through consistent 1:1s, coaching, and political development.
  • Run interest meetings, convert interest into structure, and support early campaign identification in each new formation.
  • Stay actively engaged as an organizer, recruiting and building relationships in your own geography and community.
  • Monitor squaDD progress, support leadership pathways, and ensure alignment with national programming.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least 3 years of experience in community organizing, campaign strategy, or related fields.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with ability to work with diverse communities and navigate conflict.
  • Experience with digital organizing tools (Every Action, Mobilize, AirTable, New/Mode, etc.) and database management.
  • Commitment to building a cross-class, multiracial movement and the vision of the Freedom Papers.

What's in it for you
