Southeast Regional Organizer

• Launch and stabilize new squaDDs across the Southeast region, developing 2-3 core leaders per city through consistent 1:1s, coaching, and political development.
• Run interest meetings, convert interest into structure, and support early campaign identification in each new formation.
• Stay actively engaged as an organizer, recruiting and building relationships in your own geography and community.
• Monitor squaDD progress, support leadership pathways, and ensure alignment with national programming.

This role directly builds grassroots power in the Southeast, launching new chapters and developing leaders to advance racial and economic justice, ultimately contributing to a national movement for safety and a good life for all.

• At least 3 years of experience in community organizing, campaign strategy, or related fields.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with ability to work with diverse communities and navigate conflict.
• Experience with digital organizing tools (Every Action, Mobilize, AirTable, New/Mode, etc.) and database management.
• Commitment to building a cross-class, multiracial movement and the vision of the Freedom Papers.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000. Remote position with frequent regional travel. Start date July 6, 2026. Equal opportunity employer.
