Southeast Campaigner

• Develop and execute campaign plans and initiatives focused on red wolves, aquatic species, forests, and rivers.
• Communicate with media, decision-makers, the public, allies, and opinion leaders through writing, outreach, and public speaking.
• Organize and promote participation in hearings, meetings, rallies, and other events; lobby and meet with policy makers.
• Build strong partnerships and lead coalitions with Tribes, local communities, businesses, and organizations.

This role directly contributes to the protection of endangered species like red wolves and critical ecosystems in the Southeast, mobilizing public support and influencing policy to secure lasting conservation outcomes.

• Campaign or organizing experience: Staff requires 3 years, Senior requires 7+ years.
• Deep commitment to protecting species and their habitats.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing strategic outreach, education, and/or advocacy campaigns.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead conversations and meetings.

Salary range: Staff Campaigner $55,000 - $72,000; Senior Campaigner $72,000 - $90,000 (DOE).
