Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician (Level 3)

• Lead comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar power plants and energy storage systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and corrective action plans.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on safety, inspection, and maintenance procedures.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

This role ensures solar and energy storage systems operate safely and reliably, maximizing clean energy production and reducing reliance on fossil fuels, directly contributing to a sustainable energy future.

• 2–4 years of experience in the solar industry or related electrical field.
• Valid New Mexico CID Journeyman Electrician certificate (EE-98J classification).
• OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications; FAA Part 107 certification preferred.
• Proficient in electrical systems, solar technologies, diagnostic tools (I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers), and reading schematics.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 annually. Benefits include up to 8% performance bonus, company truck and tools, medical/dental/vision (80% premium paid), 401(k) with up to 7.5% match, PTO (120-200 hours/year), 11 paid holidays, 8 weeks paid parental leave, life insurance, tuition reimbursement up to $10,000/year, and paid certifications (OSHA, NFPA, FAA Part 107).
