We're assembling a small team of operators and builders who want to be part of that shift from the ground up.

The Role

We're launching our outreach program in Florida and need an empathetic, technically savvy advisor to guide homeowners through their custom solar proposals. You'll run live virtual appointments with homeowners who are interested in solar, answer their questions, build genuine trust, and guide those who are ready toward online checkout.

This isn't traditional sales. There are no commissions, no quotas, no high-pressure scripts. Your job is to be a knowledgeable, trustworthy consultant, and help homeowners choose whatever is best for them.

You'll also play a direct role in shaping the AI agents that will eventually scale this work. Every conversation you have becomes training data for the next generation of our platform, and your input will directly influence how we build it.

What You'll Do

• Conduct virtual appointments with Florida homeowners reviewing custom solar proposals

• Build rapport, answer technical and financial questions, address concerns

• Guide ready buyers through the online checkout process

• Record and tag conversations to help train the AI agents that will supplement this work

• Share patterns you notice — common objections, confusing parts of the proposal, what's working, and how we can improve

• Work with the engineering team to continually improve our systems and AI tools to better serve homeowners

Who You Are

• Genuinely care about clean energy access and the energy transition

• 2-3 years experience in residential solar and battery sales (required)

• Excited about AI tools and energized by the chance to help build them

• Interested in working at a fast-paced, growing startup with a small team

• Comfortable on video, naturally warm, good at slowing down for people making big decisions

• Tech-savvy — fluent across CRMs, video tools, LLMs, and quick to pick up new software

• Bonus: prior AI development or training data experience

Logistics

• 1099 contractor, fully remote (Eastern Time zone availability required)

• 30-40 hours/week, including evening and Saturday appointment availability

• $50/hour

• Open-ended engagement with the potential to join the team in a full-time salaried role as you demonstrate your capabilities 

• You provide your own hardware; we provide all software, training, and leads
