What you will drive
- Design and implement highly scalable and reliable web applications to support Zoox's autonomous robotaxi service under the supervision of more senior engineers.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams, PMs, and designers to build new features.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to enhance existing software systems by optimizing latency, CPU/memory usage, and database queries.
- Have the chance to grow into a Senior Engineer with the support of your manager, mentor, and team members.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, or Python.
- Experience building applications with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) and/or backend web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
- Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and user experiences.
