Software Engineer (OpenText, Java, Angular)

• Lead and execute full-stack development (Angular/Java/Spring Boot/AWS S3) across sprint cycles for a federal government document capture and management solution.
• Modernize OpenText server software and harden Java/Spring Boot backend.
• Ensure system maintains Authority to Operate (ATO) through secure coding, vulnerability management, and compliance with federal cybersecurity policy.
• Support Agile ceremonies, produce technical documentation, and provide Tier 1/2 help desk support.

This role directly supports a federal government client in maintaining a document capture and management system central to program authorization and oversight, ensuring efficient and secure operations that strengthen societal infrastructure.

• OpenText Intelligent Capture experience required.
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science from accredited college/university required.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in software design and development.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical development efforts; preferred experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Java, MySQL, MSSQL, and Amazon AWS S3.
