Software Developer/Mobile apps

• Design, build, and maintain robust cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
• Ensure consistent high-quality user experience across Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate mobile apps with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable, and secure mobile solutions.

This role contributes to the development of a globe-spanning port management information system, driving mobile innovation to improve efficiency and sustainability in the maritime industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years software development experience, with at least 1 year hands-on Flutter and Dart.
• Proven experience developing and publishing mobile apps on both Android and iOS.
• Familiarity with state management (Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc) and REST API consumption.

Annual salary range $80,000 - $100,000 CAD. Full-time position based in Vancouver, BC with remote Thursdays. Wärtsilä is committed to diversity and inclusion.
