  • Identify the need for, plan and implement complex monitoring and field work as may be required (e.g., water quality monitoring, flow gauging, hydromorphological surveys, PWS investigations etc.).
  • Support delivery of high-quality water science / hydrology consultancy and advisory services to both internal and external clients, including through our check and review processes.

The difference you'll make

This role contributes to sustainable water management, river restoration, and flood resilience, helping to protect ecosystems and communities while supporting climate adaptation.

What makes you a great fit

  • Experienced water scientist or hydrologist with a strong background in fluvial environments, and ideally experience with estuaries, lakes, and marine environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage projects, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Skilled in using varied tools (software, models) and able to review data empirically (e.g., flow data series, spot gauging).
