Senior Technical Implementation Manager, VPP (Remote, US)

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of new Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs from concept to live operation, including scoping, operational design, cross-functional coordination, and handoff to steady-state teams.
• Build and maintain scalable processes, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge infrastructure to enable repeatable program launches and independent downstream operations.
• Serve as the central point of contact for commercial and technical teams during program build and launch, proactively identifying and communicating risks to leadership.

This role directly enables the expansion of the largest residential virtual power plant in North America, helping to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, lower energy costs for customers, and accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy grid.

• 4–8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch in energy, utilities, or B2B2C environments.
• Strong program management and operational instincts; ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and build processes where none existed.
• Familiarity with virtual power plants (VPPs), demand response, distributed energy resources (DERs), and related energy programs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experience coordinating across multiple teams and synthesizing complex discussions into executive-ready narratives.

Full-time position with competitive salary ($160k–$205k base), target annual bonus of 15% of base salary, and long-term incentive programs.
