Senior Specialist, Communications

• Write clear and compelling content across formats including features, Slack posts, leadership messages, event scripts and video concepts.
• Translate complex, technical, or sensitive material into content that people read and remember.
• Produce and oversee graphics, short-form video, and live and virtual events that bring the organization together.
• Own measurement across internal channels and advise colleagues on content, tone, and timing.

This role helps keep EDF's staff informed, connected, and inspired, enabling the organization to effectively address environmental challenges and advance its mission.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
• At least four years of proven experience in communications, with documented experience producing content across mediums for global audiences.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, especially for digital platforms, with the ability to apply a fun, accessible voice as appropriate.
• Working knowledge of internal communications tools, platforms and approaches; basic graphic design, photo and video editing experience.
