How to Apply for Senior Solutions Consultant

at Choco

๐Ÿข About Choco

Choco is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup tackling the massive problem of food waste by digitizing the fragmented supply chain between restaurants and suppliers. With a mission to make the global food system more sustainable and efficient, Choco offers a unique opportunity to work on a product that has both environmental impact and commercial value.

About This Role

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you'll be the technical bridge between sales and product, leading discovery, demos, and technical validation for complex enterprise deals. Your work directly shapes how large restaurant groups and suppliers adopt Choco's platform, making you a key driver of revenue and customer success.

๐Ÿ’ก A Day in the Life

Your day might start with a discovery call with a potential enterprise restaurant group, followed by an internal sync with the Account Executive to refine the demo strategy. After lunch, you'll work on an RFP response, coordinate with Security on a compliance questionnaire, and end the day by tailoring a custom integration proposal for a supplier prospect.

๐ŸŽฏ Who Choco Is Looking For

  • 5+ years in Solutions Consulting, ideally in B2B SaaS with a focus on supply chain, ERP integrations, or food tech.
  • Strong consultative skills: can lead stakeholder workshops, build business cases, and manage C-level relationships.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, ERP systems, and data flows, able to design custom integrations and answer security questionnaires.
  • Proven track record in complex enterprise sales cycles (6+ months, multi-stakeholder) with a hunter mindset.

๐Ÿ“ Tips for Applying to Choco

1

Highlight specific examples of ERP or API integrations you've scoped and delivered, not just general demo experience.

2

Tailor your resume to emphasize stakeholder management and ROI conversations in enterprise sales cycles.

3

In your cover letter, mention your passion for sustainability and how your work can reduce food waste.

4

Prepare a 30-second elevator pitch on how you've helped a customer navigate a technical procurement process (RFP, security review).

5

Reference Choco's product or recent news (e.g., funding, partnerships) to show genuine interest.

โœ‰๏ธ What to Emphasize in Your Cover Letter

['Your experience with complex enterprise sales and technical validation (RFPs, security questionnaires).', 'Specific examples of integrating SaaS with ERP systems or APIs to solve operational challenges.', 'Your ability to align technical and business stakeholders around a shared solution.', "Why Choco's mission to reduce food waste resonates with you personally and professionally."]

  • โ†’ Understand the competitive landscape: how does Choco differ from other food supply chain platforms?
  • โ†’ Review their product documentation or API guides (if available) to get technical depth.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Prepare for These Interview Topics

Based on this role, you may be asked about:

1 Walk me through a time you led a discovery workshop with a large enterprise customer?
2 How would you handle a prospect who is concerned about data security and compliance?
3 Describe a complex integration you designed and how you ensured it met customer requirements.
4 How do you build a business case and ROI model for a supply chain solution?
5 How would you approach a demo for a multi-location restaurant group vs. a supplier?

โš ๏ธ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Focusing only on demo skills without discussing technical validation (RFP, security, integrations).
