Mission

What you will drive

  • Design and implement core Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to ensure secure and scalable operation of Planet's services.
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure services, including Kubernetes clusters, and enhance observability using Grafana and SLOs.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to refine developer experience (DevEx) of managed infrastructure.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Linux, and public clouds (GCP or AWS).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, ArgoCD), Terraform, and GitOps.
  • Proficiency in Go or Python, and experience with Docker and CI/CD workflows.

US base salary range: $142,800 - $178,500 (national), $153,000 - $191,300 (NYC/CA), $162,600 - $203,200 (San Francisco).
